Blowing sand and Dust testing

For products likely to be exposed to environments in which dry blowing sand or blowing dust are a factor, these tests help to evaluate the ability of those products to withstand their environment.

Surfaces, seals, electrical circuits and joints are just a few features which can be adversely affected if subjected to blowing sand and dust so the ability of a product to withstand blowing sand and dust environments is an important factor to consider during the design process and to verify during the testing process.
